You could find an application of the material to something that you have seen or read in the media or you could discuss how the media influences this part of adolescent development. Personal application: Describe a personal application to the material that you have read. You can discuss a personal example that illustrates a concept or you can discuss how reading the material made you think about issues of your own development or the development of those around you differently. This section needs to be one paragraph in length. Label this section as the “point 2” or “personal app” section.
Critical thinking question: Pose a critical thinking question to the class. This question should be one that has the potential to provoke a discussion among your classmates. It may or may not be related to the previous two sections. This section needs to be a minimum of one sentence and it does NOT need to be related to the material that you have read for the week. Label this section as the “point 3” or “critical thinking question” section.
